Located on Elmwood Avenue, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery looks like something out of another time period, built with beautiful marble columns reminiscent of the ancient Greek and Roman civilizations. With ever-changing outdoor art exhibits, the grounds offer a unique and artistic backdrop for your proposal.
Home to the historic Rose Garden, an expansive golf course, playgrounds, trees and the spectacular Hoyt Lake, Delaware Park is the Central Park of Buffalo; a natural gem amidst city buildings and busy streets.
Hoyt Lake is one of the most popular spots to visit in the park and is especially gorgeous during the snowy winter months. Whether you find a quiet park bench or walk down from the Albright-Knox, there are plenty of romantic spots to get down on one knee and ask your partner, “Will you marry me?”
Erected in the center of Niagara Square in front of City Hall, the McKinley Monument is a beautiful marble structure dedicated to President William McKinley. 96 feet tall and surrounded by sleeping lions and a fountain filled with dolphin and turtle sculptures, the pillar is one of Buffalo’s most memorable sights and a great spot to propose.
